Our Programmes

A Rocha Peru is working in conservation to protect and restore fragile habitats, species, and communities.   

Dry Forest

  • Partner with local communities to restore dry forest landscapes and plant key native species, including the Algarrobo tree (Prosopis spp),
  • Contribute to the generation of valuable research information that promotes knowledge of these dry forest ecosystems, and
  • Raise awareness about the importance of the dry forest and sustainable management of it and grow gardens in schools, churches and community kitchens.

Creation Care

  • Train leaders and members of churches and Christian institutions in the biblical principle of Creation Care, and
  • Promote environmental awareness and commitment to care for God’s creation.

Patrimonio Natural y Cultural

  • Preserve cultural traditions and ancestral knowledge,
  • Generate valuable research information to aid in conservation,
  • Raise awareness about the importance of the natural environment and preserving it, and
  • Promote local livelihoods.
